The web site is used by Growers to enquire on the status of their wool within their broker's system.
The information displayed to Growers is sourced from a copy of the Brokers database residing at Talman. This database is updated with data from the Broker's database at regular intervals, specified by the Broker.
The updating of data from the Broker to Talman is via a data export application, which is run as part of the Talman Broker system. The data export application uses web services to pass data from the Broker's database, via an internet connection to a copy of the database at Talman.
